Dvorak's "Rusalka" Designed by Paul O Mahony at the Gaiety

September 18, 20 and 21,Lyric Opera are staging what they believe is the first Dublin production of Dvorak's Rusalka. It is the fairytale story of the water nymph and the prince. You may be unfamiliar with this opera apart from the famous "Hymn to the Moon". However it is a really beautiful piece and deserves to be a more mainscale feature of the operatic repertoire. This production will be staged at the Gaiety Theatre and will feature a leading international cast led by Natasha Jouhl in the title role, including Imelda Drumm as Jezibaba.
