The Meeting - Frederick William Burton - Life & Work

Umbrella Theatre Company, based in the Dun Laoghaire Rathdown area, has been commissioned by the National Gallery of Ireland to write a new work, based on the painter Frederic William Burton, who will be known to most as the artist who painted The Meeting on the Turret Stairs.  This production has been commissioned to complement the NGI's own exhibition on Burton, which starts later this month. 

 

The production will also be performed, outside of the Gallery, in the dlr LexIcon in Dun Laoghaire.

The Meeting - Frederick William Burton - Life & Work is a full length theatrical production with eight actors (see attachments). Four performances have been planned as listed below.
